What easyPDF is

easyPDF is a collection of free online tools for working with PDF documents. It was built for a simple reason: most people occasionally need to compress a file that is too large to email, combine a few documents into one, split a long report, convert a scan into a PDF, or remove a password — but they should not have to install heavy software or hand their files to a service they do not trust to do it.

Every tool runs in your browser and on our own servers. There is no software to download, no account to create and no watermark stamped on your documents. The core tools are, and will remain, free to use.

What you can do

• Optimise: compress a PDF to shrink its file size while keeping it readable.
• Organise: merge several PDFs into one, split a document into separate files, rotate or reorder pages.
• Convert: turn images (JPG, PNG) into a PDF, or export PDF pages back to images.
• Secure: add a password to protect a document, or remove one you already know.
• Edit: add a text watermark to mark drafts or ownership.

How it works

When you choose a tool and add a file, the document is uploaded over an encrypted (HTTPS) connection, the requested operation runs on our server, and the finished file is returned to you for download. Both the file you uploaded and the result are temporary: they are removed automatically once the operation is complete. We do not index, archive, read, sell or share the contents of your documents. Free and PRO

The free version covers everyday needs, with files up to 20 MB. If you regularly handle very large documents, want to process many files in one go, need an API, or simply prefer an ad-free experience, our paid plan easyPDF PRO raises the limit to 1 GB and removes advertising.

The free service is supported by advertising, which is what keeps the core tools free for everyone. Ads are only loaded after you make a choice in our cookie banner.
