How to convert images to PDF
Photos and scans usually arrive as JPG or PNG image files. That is fine for a single picture, but when you need to send several together — a multi-page scan, a set of receipts, photos of a signed form — a PDF is far more practical: it keeps everything in one file, in the right order, and prints predictably. This guide shows how to turn images into a PDF for free.
When to convert
- Submitting a scanned document that your phone saved as photos.
- Bundling several receipts or invoices into one file for expenses.
- Sharing a set of images as a single, easy-to-open document.
Steps
- Open the image-to-PDF tool from the home page.
- Add your JPG or PNG images. If the tool accepts more than one, add them all.
- Arrange the images in the order you want the pages to appear.
- Click Process to build the PDF.
- Download the finished document.
Tips
- Take photos straight-on and in good light for the cleanest pages; crop out backgrounds first.
- Large, high-resolution photos make big PDFs — afterwards you can compress the PDF to make it easier to email.
- Pages in the wrong direction? Use rotate to straighten them.
